The Lázaro Ferreira Filho Baptist Institute is a philanthropic, non-profit, and non-partisan institution that serves children, adolescents, young people, and adults in situations of social vulnerability.

We offer free sports and cultural activities in modalities such as Judo, Functional Training, Hip-Hop, Zumba, Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Soccer, Cello, Violin, Guitar, English, and School Reinforcement. In addition to these activities, we also provide access to a chaplaincy and psychologist.

The activities take place in the cities of Paulínia and Cosmópolis, in the state of Sao Paulo, and benefit 520 individuals, mostly children and adolescents. In addition to the mentioned activities, the Baptist Institute also distributes Food Baskets (like Food Stamps in United States) to families in situation of social vulnerability. The Food Baskets are prepared according to the size of the family, enabling more targeted assistance.

 

Financial supports are obtained through donations from individuals and companies. Some Government Institutions also make donations through specific partnerships, but these are one-time resources and do not cover all expenses of our Institute.

 

In addition to the activities mentioned above, the Baptist Institute also conducts music workshops in public schools in Paulínia. The objective of these workshops is to bring the world of music to children who do not have access to it. In these workshops, music is used as a tool for inclusion and social transformation, rather than just entertainment.
